What are the differences between free and premium?

We like to keep things simple—so here’s the difference simplified:

The free version of Sage One allows one user to send up to five invoices per month and add one financial (banking, savings, credit or debit) account.

The premium version of Sage One gives you unlimited user access to all features.

Do I have to sign a contract?

Sage believes that small businesses should have access to the tools that will help their business succeed, which is why we have introduced a free version of Sage One. While you do have to agree to Sage One terms and conditions, we don’t push you into a long-term commitment or make you sign a contract. You may cancel your Sage One subscription at any time.

Do I need to provide a credit card to sign up?

No credit card is needed to sign up for the free version of Sage One Accounting. Simply sign up and get started. If you find that you need more than what the free version offers, upgrade with a credit card to Sage One Accounting Premium for a small monthly fee.2

When/how can I upgrade from the free version to the premium version?

You can upgrade at any time from the free version to the premium version directly within your Sage One account.2

Will it cost more for my accountant to use Sage One Accounting?

No, there is no cost for your accountant to use Sage One Accounting. The Sage One Accountant Edition is no cost for all qualified accounting professionals.8
